This policy explains how you can cancel a project, maintenance plan or other engagement with Blinders Tech Lab, and what happens when you do. Any money due back to you is handled under our Refund Policy.
1. How to cancel
Send a cancellation request by email to support@blinderstechlab.com with the subject "Cancellation request", your name, project name and invoice number. Cancellation takes effect on the date we confirm receipt, which we do within 2 business days. Verbal or WhatsApp requests must be confirmed by email.

3. Pausing instead of cancelling
If you need time, you can pause a project for up to 60 days at no charge by emailing us. We will agree a new timeline when you're ready to restart. Projects paused for more than 60 days may need a revised quote.
4. Cancelling a maintenance plan
Maintenance plans renew automatically each month or year. You can cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. Services continue until the end of the notice period. Before the plan ends, we give you all backups, logins and files we hold.
5. Dedicated developer engagements
After the 3-month minimum term, a dedicated developer engagement can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Cancelling within the minimum term requires payment for the remaining months of that term.
6. Rescheduling meetings and start dates
Consultations and meetings can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours notice. A project start date can be moved once without charge if requested at least 7 days before the planned start.
7. Cancellation by Blinders Tech Lab
We may cancel a project if invoices remain unpaid for more than 30 days, if you breach our Terms & Conditions, if the project involves unlawful content or activity, or if we can no longer deliver it for reasons outside our control. In that case, we refund any payment for work not yet delivered.
